Quick start
From a fresh emulator to your first finished run, one step at a time.
This is the shortest path from nothing to an account that works on its own. It ends with one simple duty — Patrol — running end to end, which proves the emulator, the city map and the bot's eyesight are all healthy before you switch on anything bigger. Each step links to its full page.

Set it up
- Prepare the emulator. Install an Android emulator — MuMu Player is recommended — set its display to 540 × 960 portrait at 120 dpi, switch on its ADB connection and restart it. Install Evony, set the game to English and sign in to the account. Emulator setup has the exact menus.
- Check text recognition. In Evonex, open Settings. Under Text recognition the status should read English ready. If it reads Fallback language or Not available, click Language settings, add English in Windows, then click Re-check.
- Create the instance. Open Instances and click Add instances. Leave How many at 1, type a Name, make sure your emulator is ticked under Emulators ▸ Detected — or pick By port and type its port — and click Create 1 instance. Within a few seconds the new instance should read Ready. See Create your first instance.
- Map the city. Open City Mapper and click Auto map. Tick the emulator the account plays on and click Scan 1 emulator. Auto map reads the city from the game's own pictures without tapping anything, and checks the map when it finishes. Open the new map and check that the buildings your first duties visit — Patrol needs the Walls — read Ready; Map by hand places any it missed. See City Mapper.
- Nothing to assign. A city map lives on its emulator, so every instance on that emulator uses it by itself: the instance's Settings ▸ City map reads Follows its emulator. Pick a map there only to use a different one.
- Switch on a first duty. Open the instance from Instances, go to its Duties and jump to Daily activities. On the Patrol row, click the gear, open the Task setup tab, pick the rewards you want or turn on Sweep all, and click Done. Then click the row's switch so it reads ON. See Patrol.
- Start. Go to Overview and press Start. If a Needs setup before starting window opens, click Open setup and fix what it lists. The first Start then asks Add human-like rest breaks? — choose Add rest breaks or Not now. Watch the Activity Monitor as the run happens.

What to set up next
- Generals and presets — before any marching task, scan your generals under Resources ▸ Generals ▸ Scan Generals and group them into a General Preset.
- Plan tasks — on Duties ▸ Tasks, click a task on the Add to plan shelf to add it, then drag the rows into priority order. Rally Joiner and Resource Gathering are common first picks.
- Protection and buffs — keep a bubble on the keep and item buffs running: Protection and Buffs.
- Rally targets — Coordex finds live bosses on your server for Rally Setter.
- Pacing — fine-tune rest breaks and quiet hours, which days they sleep on and whether a break closes the emulator, on the instance's Settings ▸ Rest breaks: Instance settings.
- More accounts — Add instances creates many at once from the emulators found on this PC, and the Manager view on Instances starts, stops and sets them up together.
How it runs
When you press Start, Evonex connects to the emulator — opening it first when the instance is linked to a closed one — and checks its screen size. If the game is closed, it opens it. Then it takes whatever is due: Patrol runs when its schedule says so, and plan tasks run in the order you gave them. Each finished run appears in the Activity Monitor with a ✓ or an ✕, and on the Dashboard. Press Stop at any time — the instance ends at its next step, and the run is recorded as stopped rather than failed.
Examples
- A farm account's first day. Create Silverpine on its own emulator window. On Daily activities switch on Patrol (Sweep all), Gold levy, Resource collecting and Labor. Check its city map covers the buildings they visit — the Needs setup card names any that are missing — accept rest breaks at the first Start, and let it run.
- A main account that joins rallies. Create Northwatch. Scan your generals, build a General Preset, add Rally Joiner from the Add to plan shelf and set it up, switch on Alliance help, then press Start.
