Coordex

Live world-map targets for each server.

Coordex keeps a live list of world-map targets for each server you play, organised into named boards. Turn a server Live and Coordex sweeps its map and fills its boards with what it recognises: boss monsters by default, or resource tiles, subordinate cities, collectables or event targets if you switch a board's Type. You can also log a coord by hand at any time.

Open Coordex (where each theme puts it: The interface). It has three sections — Boards, Servers and Settings — switched at the top right. It is shared setup, not a task: Rally Setter and Solo Hunt are the tasks that read a board.

A Coordex boss board: its config strip, its header and the coords list. Under Standing Watch the board stands beside AROUND HOME, its coords plotted around Home.

Under Standing Watch the Boards view is one desk: the board on the left with a SERVERS plate under it, and AROUND HOME on the right — the board's coords plotted around your Home, nearest first, with range rings every 100 km. Hovering a row rings its mark; clicking a mark picks its row. On a narrow window the plot folds behind a Map key. The controls are the same in every theme.

Boards

The Boards section is where the work happens. Click New board, name it (Board name, then Save), then set it up. Its config strip carries the rest:

Server
which game server this board covers. Only active servers one of your Coordex seats covers are offered. Switching a board to another server clears the coords it holds — they belong to the old server.
Type
which kind of object this board shows and tracks — Boss monsters (default), Resource tiles, Subordinate cities, Collectables or Event targets. Switching it changes what Track offers and what the board body shows; each type remembers its own Track picks, so flipping back restores them.
Track
which of the board's Type this board treats as targets — see Picking targets below. The button reads All bosses (or All tiles, All cities…) while nothing is picked, else N selected; nothing picked tracks everything of that type.
Go live
arms the board's server for automatic scanning — the button shows a blinking Live lamp while it runs, and clicking again pauses it (the board keeps what it already has). Going live is per SERVER, not per board: every board on the same server shares one switch, and so do the server's card and Explore — flip it in any of them and the others follow. Going live needs an active pass for the server; if the pass lapses, the board pauses itself and shows a strip saying why, with nothing deleted.
⋯ (board menu)
Rename, Export to sheet… (writes an .xlsx or .csv of Name, Level, X, Y, Source and Note — greyed when the board has nothing to export), and, below a divider, Clear board… — removes every coordinate on the board, pins included, after a confirmation — and Delete.

Boss boards

With Type set to Boss monsters (the default) the board is a live, editable list. Its header shows the count (6 scanned, or N targets on the Targets view), a ● Live pill while the server is live, and the rest of the controls:

All / Targets
switches the list between every coord on the board and only the ones that match your Track picks, each with a live count.
Seen within
shows only the coords seen recently. The pill reads Any time (default) or Last 5 min, Last hour…; a click opens a panel with a ruler of how old the coords are — 1m 2m 5m 10m 15m 30m 1h 2h 5h 12h 24h Any — and a read-out such as Showing 12 of 1032 bosses seen in the last 5 min. The × on the pill (Show any time) or the panel's Any time shows everything again. It is display only — nothing is deleted — and it is remembered per kind of target, for every board and for Explore alike. When it hides every row, the board says so (Nothing seen in the last 5 min) with a button to widen it.
Copy list
copies the rows shown — the All or Targets view — as text, one line each: X:Y, the name, its level and, with Home set, the distance.
Set Home
sets a point — usually your keep — as X and Y (1–1200). Every coord then shows its distance and the list sorts nearest-first. The button reads Home <x>:<y> once set, and its window offers Clear Home.
Add coord
logs a tile by hand (Add a coord): search Monster (type-ahead), pick its Level once a match is found, and set Kill mode — Solo, Rally or Both, seeded to that level's own default. Enter X and Y (each 1–1200) and an optional Note. A name that is not a tracked monster still saves, as a custom pin (Not a tracked monster — saved as a custom pin.).
  1. Monster — search field
  2. Level — depends on the matched monster
  3. Kill mode — Solo / Rally / Both
  4. X and Y (1–1200)
  5. Note (optional)
The Add a coord window, with a matched monster showing its Level and Kill mode fields.

Reading a coord row (boss board)

Other board types

Switch Type to Resource tiles, Subordinate cities, Collectables or Event targets and the rows come from this server's shared scan (kept fresh by the same Live switch), so there is no Add coord. The header keeps All / Targets, Seen within (not on Subordinate cities, which never age), Copy list and Set Home. Each row shows a status pill for its kind — Full / Partly gathered for a resource, Occupied / Unoccupied and the owner for a sub-city, Occupied / Free for an event target. Resource, collectable and event rows can be struck by hand with their disc, like a boss row; a sub-city row cannot.

The Servers section: a status card per server — Active, Locked, Requested, Expired and Removed.

The Servers section lists the game servers Coordex covers for your account, one card each, with its status:

Active
its Go live toggle with a status line (Live — waiting for its next scan, Not scanning — turn on Go live), a coins button (Manage in Payments) and Explore →. A click anywhere on the card opens Explore.
Locked
No pass for this server — add it in Payments to scan it, with Add server.
Requested
Waiting on Coordex.
Expired
Pass ended — renew to keep tracking, with Renew.
Removed
No longer in the scanner pool — local data only: an admin took the server out of the scan pool, so it keeps what was recorded on this device but scans no further. Its card opens Explore on that local data.
Remove
on every card that is not Active — takes the server off this list.

Clicking a Locked, Expired or Requested card explains what it needs instead of opening Explore.

How tasks use it

Rally Setter works from one named Coordex board — it starts your own rallies on the bosses that board lists, skips any coord that is stale or struck, and can hold to a maximum distance from the board's Home. Solo Hunt reads a board the same way with a single march. A row's Kill mode decides which of the two may take it: Rally Setter takes Rally and Both rows, Solo Hunt takes Solo and Both rows. While Coordex is scanning a hunt's board, the hunt waits for the scan.

While a server is Live, its coords refresh on their own — Coordex sweeps it about once an hour and shares the results, so a coord that's minutes old is trustworthy and one that's hours old is flagged stale. You never set a schedule; the cadence and pacing are automatic.

Settings

Coordex ▸ Settings holds three cards. Your seats — each seat unlocks one server's map data; Move or Assign a server points a seat at another server (with a 15-minute cooldown between moves). Plan & passes — your Coordex pass for each server. Freshness — what each server's scan is doing (Live, Scanning N%, Paused, Retrying), its next check and its stale window (stale ~5h), and the cleanup dial:

Remove local coords older than
how old a coord on this device may get before it is deleted outright, rather than just marked stale. Pins you added and coords tasks found on this device go at this age; rows of the shared Coordex scan wait until the server's stale window has passed, so a sync cannot bring them straight back. It never touches the shared pool other devices read, and it holds in Explore too. Choices: Off — keep them (default), or 2, 4, 5, 6, 8, 12 or 24 hours. Under Standing Watch the same dial also sits at the foot of the Boards view's SERVERS plate.
Going offline, or a pass lapsing, never deletes anything — a board pauses and keeps what it has. Coords go only when you clear or delete a board, switch its server, clear a server in Explore, or by the dial above; and, as the Freshness card says, nothing anywhere outlives 24 hours — except subordinate cities, which are permanent.

Troubleshooting

A board says its server is expired or locked.
Its pass has lapsed, or the server was never added to your Coordex plan — the board keeps every coord it already recorded and resumes scanning once you renew or add it in Payments; nothing was deleted while it waited.
The board is empty, but its count says it holds coords.
Check Seen within on the header: a short window hides every coord not seen in it. Click its × — or Any time in its panel — to show them all.
A coord is struck through and I don't know why.
Either it went Stale (not re-seen within the server's stale window, which an admin sets — Settings ▸ Freshness shows it; a fresh scan clears it) or it was struck by hand with its disc (click the disc again to put it back).
Rally Setter says a board has nothing to hunt.
Check the board's Track picker — an over-narrow filter, or every target having gone stale or been struck, both leave it with no live target.
I changed Type on a board and my old targets vanished.
They did not — Track remembers a separate pick per Type. Switch Type back and your original Track selection is exactly as you left it.
I switched a board to another server and its coords are gone.
That is by design: a board's coords belong to its server, so switching servers clears them. Go live on the new server to fill the board again.
