Resources

Generals

Your scanned generals — the roster every general preset and general-picking task draws from.

Resources ▸ Generals holds your Saved Generals: the generals on your own game account, each with a portrait the bot recognises that general by. You never type a general in. You scan them, and the bot reads each one straight out of the game's Generals window. General Presets, and through them the rally tasks, pick from this roster, and so does Cultivate Generals.

NeedsEmulator connectedGame running on that emulator
Open Resources (see The interface for where each theme puts it), then the Generals tab — the first of seven: Generals, Monsters, Champions, Black Market, Recruit Generals, Troops, Traps. It is a library, not a task or a duty: every instance shares it, and nothing on this tab runs on a schedule. A change is saved when you confirm it, and every instance's task settings see it the next time they are opened. A scan runs only when you start one.

Aurora and Prism head the page with Resources, the line Game data shared across every instance. and a row of seven tabs. Standing Watch draws Resources as a desk under one head band: RESOURCES, the seven tabs as square icon keys with their names (on a narrow window only the open tab keeps its name; the others show it when you point at them) and the same line at the right.

Set it up

  1. Start the emulator and let the game load. Stop any instance that uses this emulator, so nothing else is tapping while the scan works.
  2. Open Resources ▸ Generals and click Scan Generals.
  3. Under Scan from, pick the emulator from the list or type its address.
  4. For a first scan, leave Category on All categories, both general types ticked and Scan filter empty. Click Scan.
  5. Watch the cards appear. When Scan complete opens, read the summary and click OK.
  6. Check the names. Double-click any that came out wrong and type the right one; delete a card if the same general was added twice.
  7. Click General Presets to group your generals into lineups.

The Saved Generals screen

Saved Generals
The heading. The line under it counts the roster, for example 24 generals, and adds · 22 preset-ready when some generals have no recognition yet. While a scan runs, that line shows the scan's progress instead.
General Presets
Opens Manage general presets, where you build the lineups tasks march with. See General Presets.
Scan Generals
Opens the Scan generals window (below). While a scan runs the button reads Stop Scanning, with a moving shimmer in themes that allow motion. Click it to stop: it reads Stopping… and ignores clicks until the scan has finished the general it is on.
Rarity chips
All, then one chip for each rarity your roster actually holds: Legendary, Legendary Awakened, Epic, Epic Awakened. Every chip shows its live count. Click a chip to show only that rarity; click it again, or click All, to show everyone. Default: All.
Search by name…
Narrows the cards to names containing what you type. The ✕ inside the box clears it.
General card
The portrait in a frame of its rarity colour, with a matching gem in the corner: purple for legendary, orange for awakened legendary, gold for epic, red for awakened epic. Under it: the name, a rarity pill (Legendary, Epic, or Awakened for either awakened frame; hover it for the full description), and where the general is used: 3 presets or Unused. A preset counts whether the general is a main, an assistant, or both.
Name (double-click)
Double-click a name to edit it on the card. Enter or clicking away saves; Esc puts the old name back. A blank name, or a name another general already has, is refused and the old name returns. A name too long for the card scrolls while you hover it.
Edit general
Hover a card and click the sliders icon on the portrait. Opens Edit general (below).
Delete general
Hover a card and click the bin icon. It asks Delete “name”? It will also be removed from any presets. Delete removes the general, its portrait and its recognition, and takes it out of every preset. Cancel keeps it.
Empty grid
Before your first scan: No generals scanned yet. When a chip or the search hides everyone: No commanders match your filters.

On Standing Watch the same controls are laid out as an index card beside a wall of portraits. The card holds FIND (the search box), RARITY (one row per rarity you hold, with its count and a bar of the proportions; click a row to show only that rarity, click it again to show everyone) and ROSTER (how many generals are saved, how many are Preset-ready and how many have No detector yet). The wall's head carries SAVED GENERALS with its count line, and General Presets and Scan Generals.

The Scan generals window

  1. Scan from
  2. Category
  3. General type
  4. Scan filter
  5. Scan
Scan generals: where to scan from, then the in-game tab and filters to read under.
Scan from
The emulator to read. Open the list to pick a detected emulator, or type its address (for example 127.0.0.1:5555); a bare port such as 5555 is filled out to the full address when you leave the box. The circular-arrows button beside it looks for emulators again, for one you started after opening the window. Default: empty.
Category
Which tab of the game's Generals window to read: All categories, Military, Development, Duty or Subordinate City. It steers this scan only; it is not stored on the generals. Default: All categories.
General type
Which frames to add: Epic Historic, Legendary Historic, or both. Awakened generals count as their rarity. The last ticked type cannot be unticked. Default: both (the box reads Epic Historic and Legendary Historic).
Scan filter
Switches on the game's own Favorite and/or Idle filter before reading, so only those generals are walked. Default: none (the box reads No filter (all)).
Scan
Checks that the emulator answers, then closes the window and starts the scan. With nothing under Scan from you get No device; an emulator that does not answer gives Can't reach device. Either way the window stays open with your choices.
Cancel
Closes without scanning. The ✕ and Esc do the same.

How a scan runs

  1. Opens the Generals window itself from wherever the game is, selects your Category tab, switches the window to detail mode, and sets the Scan filter.
  2. Scrolls to the top of the list and walks down it one general at a time, looking at each card's frame colour and reading its name.
  3. Skips a general whose rarity you did not tick, and a general whose name is already in the roster (capital letters do not matter). A re-scan therefore never duplicates or overwrites a card you already have.
  4. Adds every new general with its portrait and a recognition cut from that portrait. Its card appears at once. The same cut recognises the general in the game's detail view and in its smaller list view, so there is no second scan to run.
  5. Stops at the end of the list, when you click Stop Scanning, or when a step cannot be done (for example the window will not open).
  6. Opens a result window with a summary, a scrollable log of every step and every general, and OK: Scan complete (for example Scanned 40 general(s): 12 added, 26 already in library, 2 of other rarities), Scan stopped (you stopped it, or the reason it could not go on), or Scan error. After a complete or hand-stopped scan it reminds you to correct misread names and remove duplicates.

  4. OK

Edit general

  1. Type
  2. Awakened
  3. Template region
  4. Reset
  5. Vision Lab
  6. Save
Edit general: name, type, the Awakened switch, and the template region the recognition is cut from.
Name
The general's name (placeholder General name). Renaming also renames its recognition. A blank name gives Name required; a name another general has gives Duplicate name.
Type
Epic Historic or Legendary Historic. Default: what the scan read.
Awakened
A switch for the special awakened frame. The label beside it names the frame it means for the chosen type: Red frame for epic, Orange frame for legendary. Default: what the scan read.
Template region
The portrait, with the box the bot recognises this general by. Drag inside the box to move it, drag an edge or corner to resize it, or drag outside it to draw a new one. The line underneath shows the box position and size. Reset puts the starting box back. If you moved the box, Save cuts the recognition again from it; an unmoved box leaves the existing cut, and any tuning you did in the Vision Lab, alone. Without a portrait the line reads No portrait — scan to capture art.
Vision Lab
Opens General template — Vision Lab on this portrait, to tune the match (threshold, filters, a new crop). A box you moved goes along as an unsaved change. Use for this general links the result straight away, even if you then cancel Edit general, and the region box moves to where the new cut sits. Closing the lab links nothing. Greyed out, with the tooltip No art yet — scan first, while the general has no portrait.
Save
Saves the name, type and Awakened switch, and re-cuts a moved box.
Cancel
Cancel, the ✕ in the title bar, or Esc closes the window without saving. If a check fails when you click the main button, a message says what is wrong and the window stays open with everything you entered.

Vision Lab from a library

Opened from a library entry, the Vision Lab shows only the crop-and-match tool (its text-reading tab is hidden), loads the pictures it was opened with as its sources, and adds one extra button named for the job (Use for this skin, Use for this general or Use for this monster). Crop the part to recognise, tune the match, then click that button: a detector that is new or changed goes through Save detector first, so nothing is linked unsaved. Closing the lab links nothing. The full tool is described on the Vision Lab page.

Examples

Stop the instance that uses this emulator before you scan. The scan taps and swipes the game itself, and a task running on the same emulator at the same time would fight it for the screen.
Presets follow a general you rename, so fixing a misread name never breaks a lineup. Cultivate Generals remembers its chosen general by name, so pick the general again there after renaming it.
Your roster and presets are kept with your Evonex account, so another PC you use picks them up without scanning again. A general you delete is removed there too.

Troubleshooting

The scan stopped with “Couldn't open the Generals window.”
The bot could not reach the Generals window from the screen the game was on. Close any in-game window or popup, wait until the game has fully loaded, and scan again. Check the emulator display is 540 × 960 at 120 dpi (see Emulator setup).
It stopped with “Couldn't find the … category tab on screen.”
The Generals window did not show the tab you chose. Scan again with All categories, and make sure nothing covers the top of the window.
It stopped with “No general cards on screen”.
The list was empty when the walk started. Usually the Scan filter hid everyone (for example Favorite with no favourites), or a popup covered the list. Clear the filter or close the popup, then scan again.
Scan says “Can't reach device” or “No device”.
Check the emulator is running and reachable (see Emulator setup), then click the circular-arrows button next to Scan from and pick it from the list.
A general I own was not added.
Open the log in the result window. already in library, skipped means a general of that name is saved (perhaps under a misread name you then fixed to match). Otherwise its rarity was not ticked under General type, or the Category or Scan filter left it out.
A card has a strange name, or the same general appears twice.
Names are read off the screen and can come out wrong. Double-click the name and type the right one. Delete the extra card if a general was added twice.
The subtitle shows fewer preset-ready generals than I have.
A general whose recognition could not be cut cannot be used in a preset. Open Edit general, move the Template region box onto the face and click Save, or delete the card and scan again.
Stop Scanning shows Stopping… for a while.
The scan finishes the general it is reading before it stops, so nothing is left half-added. The result window opens when it is done.
