Monarch Competition

The Plan tab card that names today's Monarch Competition round.

The Monarch Competition card on the Plan tab names the competition round the server is running today. On most days Evonex knows the round from the calendar. On a server-vs-server week it opens the event page once a game day to read it. The check spends nothing and changes nothing in the game.

Instances ▸ open an instance ▸ Plan ▸ the Monarch Competition card (labelled Game calendar above its name). It is not a duty row and has no settings window; its only control is the switch on the card, which ships ON.

The card

ON / OFF
The daily event check. ON: Evonex reads the server's event round once a game day so this card can name it. OFF: the card shows Unknown and the bot never opens the page. Switching it off also forgets today's reading, so switching it back on makes the bot read again. Default: ON.
Round name
The large text: today's round, or Unknown when checking is off or today has not been read yet. Hover it to see where the name came from, such as the line read from the game.
Calendar line
Under the round: the next server event, counted down. It reads SvS purge starts in …, SvS begins in …, SvS ends in …, Kill Event in … or Kill Event ends in …, with next SvS and a day added where it helps.

Where the round name comes from

With the switch ON:

Days follow the game's reset, not your local midnight.

How it runs

  1. While the instance runs, once per game day on a day that needs reading, the check takes a turn like a duty.
  2. It opens the Event Center, selects Limited and opens the Monarch Competition page.
  3. It reads the Stage: line and keeps the round's name.
  4. It returns to the city or the world map it started on. The visit takes about 20 seconds.

Troubleshooting

The card says Unknown.
Either the switch is OFF, or today is a reading day and the instance has not had a free moment to check yet. Start the instance and give it a few minutes.
The round looks like yesterday's.
The check waits five minutes after the game reset before it looks, so it does not read the old round. If a reading still looks stale, switch the card OFF and back ON; the bot reads the page again.
Why doesn't the bot open the event page this week?
On a week without SvS, and on the Kill Enemies weekend, the round is known from the calendar, so there is nothing to read.
