Troop Healing
Heal up to a count of wounded at the Hospital, highest tier first, and finish the heal with speedups.
Troop Healing walks to the Hospital and heals your wounded troops up to a count you choose, highest tier first. It then finishes the heal with healing speedups, so the Hospital is free again.
A daily activity only: Instances ▸ Open an instance ▸ Duties ▸ Daily activities ▸ Troop healing ▸ ⚙. It has no Task setup card and is not offered on the plan. The Rally Setter uses the same healing from its own Hospital settings.

The settings window
Summary line
Heal wounded troops at the Hospital. Shown at the top of the Task setup tab.
Troops to heal
How many wounded to heal in one run. The Hospital is worked from the top — your highest tier first — taking each type's whole wounded count until the number is met. If fewer are wounded, it heals all of them. If resources cover only part, it heals what they cover and the run says so. Small counts heal too, down to a handful of troops. Range 1 to 500,000, in steps of 50. Default: 150.
If it's already healing
The Hospital heals one batch at a time, so a heal you started blocks this one. Leave it alone does nothing and costs nothing — the run says what it found. Speed it up, then heal spends healing speedups to clear that batch, then heals your count. Speed it up only clears the batch and stops. Default: Leave it alone.
Schedule tab
Default: Once a day. The Schedule tab is the same on every Daily activities row — How often (Once a day or Every few hours), Run before plan tasks, Come back every, Run cap, Retry when it fails and Reset schedule. Each is explained on Daily activities.
Reset task settings
Asks first, then puts both fields back to their defaults; the schedule is kept.
Record line and Reset records
What the duty remembers about its turns, and a button that forgets it (it asks first). Nothing in the game changes.
Done
Saves both tabs. ✕ or Esc discards.
How it runs
- Opens the Hospital. It walks there on your city map and taps it. If the Hospital offers no Heal, nothing is wounded: the run ends No wounded troops to heal.
- Checks for a heal in progress and follows If it's already healing. It never cancels a running heal.
- Selects the wounded. It clears any selection, then works down the list from the highest tier until your count is reached. If the price is more than the city holds, it trims the selection until it is affordable.
- Presses Heal once and checks a heal really started.
- Finishes the heal. A heal of 20 seconds or less is left to end by itself; a longer one gets Speed Up and Finish All, a few rounds if needed, until the queue is clear.
- Closes the Hospital with the window's own back arrow.
- What it spends: the heal's resources, and healing speedups to finish it. It never spends gems: Instant Heal and instant finish are never touched.
- What it reports: one row, Healing troops. It closes on Healed 150 troops, or Healing 150 troops when the heal is still running because the speedups did not cover it, or Healing 640 of 1k — ran out of resources, The Hospital is already healing, Finished the heal that was already running.
Every heal it starts is finished with your healing speedups. A large Troops to heal can use many of them.
Examples
- Daily clean-up: Troops to heal 150, Once a day, Leave it alone — the shipped setup.
- After a war: 50,000, Every few hours with Come back every 4 hours, Speed it up, then heal.
Troubleshooting
There is no Troop Healing card on Task setup.
By design. It is set up only on its Daily activities row, so there is one place to answer its questions.
The row says “Couldn't reach the Hospital”.
Map and calibrate the Hospital in City Mapper and give the instance its city map (City map in Settings).
It says “The Hospital is already healing” and did nothing.
A heal was running and If it's already healing is Leave it alone. Choose Speed it up, then heal to clear it first.
It says “Healing 640 of 1k — ran out of resources”.
The city could afford only part of your count. It healed what the resources covered.
It says “Healing N troops” rather than “Healed”.
The heal started but the speedups did not finish it — most likely you are out of healing speedups. The heal runs on the game's own clock.
It says “Pressed Heal, but the Hospital never showed the heal”.
Heal was pressed once and the window never showed a heal starting. A small heal can finish without the window showing it, so the run does not press again in case it already healed. Something may also have covered the window; the next turn tries again.
