Task duties
Buffs
Six item buffs kept up — attack, defense, HP, march speed, gathering and production — spent only when they help.
The Buffs card keeps up to six item buffs running, each its own row with its own switch: Attack buff, Defense buff, HP buff, March speed buff, Gathering speed and Resource production. A buff reads what is left on its timer in the game and puts a fresh item up only when it is running low — and, apart from production, only alongside the task it helps.
Find it at Instances ▸ open an instance ▸ Duties ▸ Buffs (the last card). Each row is a duty: switch it ON, then click its name or settings button. Buffs sit last on the page but run second, right after Protection, because an item buff burns down in real time.

Under Items to use, tap each item the account holds so it shows a number, and drag them into the order to try.
Set a Spend cap if you want a ceiling, then click Done.
Nothing is in use out of the box. A buff with no item tapped into use never spends anything — its summary says no items in use, so it will skip.
Reading a buff row
ON / OFF
Whether this instance keeps the buff up. Default: OFF.
Status chip
Until 14:32 · 45m while the buff is up (orange inside its renewal window), Not checked before the first reading, Running while it looks, Skipped with a reason such as nothing left to put on it, or Retrying after a failure. Due means the buff has run out; one that runs with a task renews the next time that task is about to run or is running.
Summary line
Which task it runs with, the items in use in order, the cap, and gems — for example With Rally Setter · 1 hour, Adv · up to 3 per task run · gems: 1 hour. With nothing picked it says No tasks picked, so it will never run. Resource production reads like Food, Stone · renews 5m early.
The Buffs card on the Plan tab steps through your switched-on buffs one at a time. Waiting — for example for Rally Setter — is a buff resting until its task runs; that is normal. It can also read Capped (your spend cap is reached), Idle (nothing in use, or no task picked), Lapsed, Skipped, Backing off, Checking… or Not checked (nobody has read this buff yet).
Buff settings — the shared controls
Attack, Defense, HP, March speed and Gathering speed share one layout; only the task list and the items differ. The page is headed Schedule — when and how often this duty runs. The Attack buff is shown.

Runs with
Chips for the tasks this buff helps. The buff only spends alongside a picked task — never on a timer, never while the bot idles. With none picked it warns No tasks picked - this buff will never be used.
Caption under Runs with
Applied before the task starts · kept fresh while it runs · never on idle time.
Items to use
One rung per item, named as the game names it. Tap a rung to put it in use (it shows its rank) or hold it back (dashed outline); drag the grip to reorder — the first in-use item the account has is the one used. Keyboard: Space or Enter puts the focused rung in use or holds it back, Ctrl+Up and Ctrl+Down move it. With nothing in use it warns No items in use - this buff will skip and the task runs unbuffed. Default: none in use, cheapest first.
Gem chip
Before an item’s name, only on items the game sells for gems. Lit — buy that item with gems when none are left. Dark — never spend gems on it. Clickable only while the rung is in use. Default: dark.
Caption under Items to use
Tap an item to put it in use · drag to set the order · the gem buys it when you're out.
Spend cap
Use up to N usesperGame day or Task run, 0–99 — the most this buff may spend in that period, items and gem buys together. Drag the number sideways, click it to type, or use − and +. At 0 it reads No cap and the period is greyed: the buff is kept fresh for as long as the task runs. Game day counts from the game's own reset; Task run starts fresh every time the task runs. Default: No cap, Game day.
Renew early
How many minutes before the buff ends it is renewed. One strip, like each of the bubble’s lanes: drag the flag, click the strip to jump it, click the flag to type, or click the strip and use the wheel or arrow keys. Range 5m–2h in 5-minute steps. Default: 5m.
Check again at every Start
On — reads the real countdown once when the instance starts, instead of trusting what it last saw. Turn it off if you never touch this buff by hand. Default: off.
Retry when it fails
1–10 tries a day. Default: 3.
Reset schedule
Puts every setting on this page back to its default, saves and closes.

How a buff runs
A buff that runs with a task waits until that task is running or is the plan’s next pick — or, for Rally Joiner, while the game’s own Auto-Join is joining rallies for it. It then goes just before the task starts, or at a safe moment while it runs. Resource production goes whenever its own timer runs low.
It opens the game’s City Buff sheet at that buff’s window and reads the countdown. If more time is left than your Renew early margin, it spends nothing.
Otherwise it tries each item in use, in your order, buying with gems only where the gem chip is lit.
It reads the countdown back off the game and records it, then goes back to where it started. Resource production visits one window per resource picked.
If nothing could be put up, the row reads Skipped — nothing left to put on it — and it looks again after an hour.
Once the spend cap is reached it stops for the rest of that game day or task run; the Plan tab reads Capped.
Examples
Rally lead “Northwatch”: Attack, Defense and HP — Runs with Rally Setter; items 1 Hour (1) then Adv (2); Spend cap 3 per Task run. March speed buff — Runs with Rally Setter; March Speed Increase in use.
Joiner account “Ember Keep”: March speed buff — Runs with Rally Joiner only; March Speed Increase (1), Adv March Speed Increase (2); Spend cap 5 per Game day.
Farm account “Silverpine”: Gathering speed — Runs with Resource Gathering; 8 Hour (1), 24 Hour (2). Resource production — Food and Stone.
Adv and Super items are rarer. Keep them below the common tier in Items to use so the buff reaches for them only when the common one is gone.
Leave Renew early short. A buff rides with its task, so the margin only has to keep it alive through the run; renewing much earlier throws away the end of every item.
Troubleshooting
My buff never runs.
Check three things in its settings: an item under Items to use shows a number, a task under Runs with is picked, and that task is in the plan and switched on. The Plan tab’s Buffs card says Waiting while the task is not running.
The row says Due, but nothing happens.
The buff has run out and is waiting for its task. It renews the next time that task is about to run or is running; the Plan tab’s Buffs card reads Waiting meanwhile.
The March speed buff does nothing.
It ships with no task picked. Open it and pick Rally Setter, Rally Joiner, Solo Hunt or any mix of them under Runs with.
The row says Skipped: nothing left to put on it.
The account is out of every item in use. Get more, put another tier in use, or light a gem chip where the game sells one. It looks again after an hour.
Why is there no gem chip on the Adv or Super item?
The game does not sell those for gems, so there is nothing to buy.
It used an Adv item when I wanted the 1 Hour one.
The account was out of the 1 Hour item, or Adv is above it. Drag 1 Hour to the top, or tap Adv to hold it back.
The Plan tab says Capped.
The buff reached its Spend cap. It spends again at the next game day, or the next task run, depending on the period you chose.
I cancelled a buff in the game and Evonex still shows a countdown.
Open the buff and click Reset records, or turn on Check again at every Start if you often do this.
