Coordex Explore

Browse everything Coordex has seen on one server.

Explore is the browse view of one server: everything Coordex has scanned there, across all five kinds of target, with a map plate beside a searchable, filterable, sortable list. It shares its data with Coordex's boards — a board just narrows the same feed to what it tracks.

Open Coordex ▸ Servers and click an active server's card (or its Explore → link). It is a drill-in page, not a task — it browses scan data, and runs nothing itself beyond the same Go live switch every board shares.

The header

‹ Servers
back to the Coordex Servers list.
Status pill
this server's pass at a glance — Active · 12 days left (orange from a week out), Active · auto-renews, Active · perpetual, Expired, Locked, Requested or Removed.
Go live
the same per-server scan switch every board and server card shares. A strip under the header says what the scan is doing (Live — next scan starts in 4m 32s, Scanning… 42% · ~7 min left); the list and the plate update in place as finds arrive — there is no Refresh button.
🗑 (clear icon)
clears this server's scanned data on THIS DEVICE only, after a confirmation. The shared pool is untouched and sub-cities are kept; the server stays cleared until you switch Go live on again or open it again.

Tabs and the map plate

The list toolbar

Search by name…
filters the current tab as you type — by name, and by culture, amount or owner where a row has one.
Filters
opens a panel of the current tab's chip groups (below); the pill reads Filters · n once any are checked, with an inline × to clear them.
Seen within
the same window a board has: Any time (default) or the last minute up to the last 24 hours — only the coords seen in it are listed and plotted. Shared with the boards and remembered per kind; not on the Subordinate cities tab.
Sort
per-tab choices. Boss and Collectable: Level · highest first (default), Freshest first, Name A–Z. Resource: Level · highest first (default), Most resources left, Type A–Z. Sub-city: Tier · highest first (default), Name A–Z, Culture A–Z. Event: Level · highest first (default), Power · highest first, Type A–Z, Name A–Z.
Unoccupied only
on the Subordinate cities and Event targets tabs — hides what someone is holding. Off by default, remembered per tab.
Show all
in the result row (Showing 12 of 40 bosses) — clears the search, every checked filter chip, Unoccupied only and Seen within in one click.
Copy list
copies every row the list is showing as text, one line each: the coordinates, the name and level, and what else the row knows (a sub-city's culture and owner, a resource's amount left, an event target's power and whether it is held). A row's own copy button copies just its line.

Reading a row

Historic Cities — the red named landmarks many players call "red cities" — show in the Subordinate cities tab as Historic City rows, in red, with the city's name and its current owner. Famous City rows are the other landmark kind in the same tab, in orange, with their civilization (for example Vietnam) and owner. The default sort puts both at the top.

How it runs

Explore never scans on its own schedule — it reads the same live sweep every board on the server shares. Flipping Explore's Go live arms that server's scan exactly like flipping it on a board or a server card; the list and the plate update in place as fresh finds arrive. The Remove local coords older than setting (Coordex ▸ Settings) holds here too: Explore removes this device's coords past that age when it opens a server and while it is open.

The trash icon in the header only clears this device's copy of the scan — it never touches the shared pool other machines read. Use it if local data looks wrong or stuck; switch Go live on again (or reopen the server) to fill it again.

Troubleshooting

The map plate is empty.
Nothing has been scanned on this tab yet for this server — click Go live to start a sweep, or switch to a tab that already has finds. Check Seen within too: a short window plots only the newest coords.
A row I expect to see is missing.
Check the search box, Filters, Unoccupied only and Seen within — each can hide rows that are still there. Show all clears every one of them at once.
Unoccupied only is missing from a tab.
It shows only where rows can be held: Subordinate cities and Event targets.
Seen within is missing from a tab.
Subordinate cities never age, so their tab has no Seen within.
